During a heart checkup, you can talk to a nurse about the heart issues that are on your mind, possible risk factors and factors that promote heart health. At the appointment, your blood pressure will be measured and you will also receive home measurement instructions. The cardiac check-up includes rapid cholesterol and blood glucose measurements and an electrocardiogram (ECG), which provides important information about the electrical function and structure of the heart.

If necessary, the nurse will recommend a visit to a cardiologist. Clients who bring their heart for a checkup receive a 10% discount on the doctor’s appointment and tests.
