Referrals to the CT truck
The availability of examinations is good – appointments can be made quickly.
We have a modern, state-of-the-art CT scanner where you can refer your patients for examination. The imaging area of the truck is comfortable, quiet and accessible. Our radiographers are experienced and highly skilled in their field.
Delivering referrals to the Sydänkeskus
Your patient is welcome to come to us for an examination on your referral – also as a self-pay patient. You can send us the referral and any commitment to pay by post or secure e-mail to the office of the relevant branch or directly to the radiographer.
Our radiographer will be in contact with the patient for preparation instructions and to make an appointment.
The referring doctor always assesses the suitability of the study for the patient (kidney function, medications, underlying diseases, possible allergies) before referring the patient to the Sydänkeskus. This information must be clearly recorded on the referral form.
We will send statements on the examination to the sending unit
For a coronary CT scan, we provide a cardiologist’s opinion in addition to the radiologist’s. For any incidental findings and other CT scans, we provide a radiologist’s opinion. If required, we can also send you the images as an electronic transfer to your own image archive.

- JN3AD Abdominal CT scan
- JN4AD Body CT scan

We shoot regularly near our fixed locations in Oulu, Rovaniemi, Pori and Helsinki, and the truck also travels around Finland.
